Events

 

If you are interested in participating in an event (i.e. Earth Day, School Fair, Career Day, etc.), then FoodWaves will be in a garden somewhere teaching students, staff, and adults about soil, seeds, plant parts, sustainable gardening techniques, etc.! We always need extra hands to support an educational station.

Volunteers should have the following:

 

• Interest in teaching others

• Interest in the local, organic food movement and/or food-related issues

• Ability to work well with a team, a good attitude, communication and organizational skills, as well as be resourceful, self-motivated, and hard-working.

• Access to transportation
